The paradise for riding boots - Reitstiefel Kempkens

Reitstiefel Kempkens has been our customer for many years. But it was only now that we had the opportunity to visit Mr Kempkens personally in his shop.

The shop and workshop of Reitstiefel Kempkens is located close to Krefeld's city centre in a nice side street.

Even the shop window is impressive. Once inside the shop, I couldn't help but be amazed. It was hard to believe the number and variations of riding boots. And all the riding boots are made to measure.

 

 

The many pictures on the walls, some with personal dedications, show how much the Kempkens family is connected to riding and also actively rides themselves.

 

Since 1881 and now in the 4th generation, shoe craftsmanship has been in the family at Kempkens. All boots and shoes are custom-made by hand.

 

But not only boots are made to measure at Kempkens, the exhibition of made-to-measure shoes is also impressive.

 

Thanks to the many inspirations of the models on display, it is easier to choose from the almost endless variations of riding boots.

It doesn't stop at the basic models, from leather to upper, lining, zips, lacing, back and front caps, cuffs, hunting loops, soles, elastics and spur boxes, you can have your boot made individually. Made to measure, of course.
